Sebastián Figueredo Secures Move to CD Leganés

P11 Football is delighted to confirm that our client, Sebastián Figueredo, has completed a permanent transfer to Spanish side CD Leganés, signing a contract that will run until 2028.

The 23-year-old Uruguayan right-back joins the LaLiga 2 outfit following a standout campaign with Montevideo Wanderers, where he established himself as one of the most promising full-backs in the Uruguayan Primera División.

A product of Wanderers’ youth academy, Figueredo made his senior debut in April 2022 and quickly earned a regular spot in the team. He scored his first professional goal in July 2023 and became a key player in their backline, known for his tireless energy, strong defensive awareness, and ability to support in attack.

His performances didn’t go unnoticed at the international level. In October 2023, Sebastián made his debut for Uruguay’s U23 national team at the Pan American Games in Chile, starting all four matches and helping his side to a fifth-place finish.

At 5’8″, Figueredo combines strength, speed, and technical quality, making him a modern full-back capable of impacting both ends of the pitch. His move to CD Leganés marks his first venture into European football, where he will look to bring that same level of consistency and ambition to help the Madrid-based club reach its goals.
