Fresh off a historic AFC U20 Asian Cup victory, P11 Football client Panagiotis Kikianis and his fellow Adelaide United teammates were celebrated at Parliament House in South Australia this week.
The event, attended by Premier Peter Malinauskas MP, key football stakeholders, and state politicians, recognized the incredible achievement of the Young Socceroos in securing Australia’s first-ever title in the competition. Kikianis played a key role in Australia’s success, delivering standout performances throughout the tournament, including a crucial goal in the quarter-finals.
Speaking at the event, Panagiotis reflected on the squad’s journey to glory:
“Many may not have expected us to go all the way, but within our squad, we knew what we were capable of. To have so many South Australians contributing at this level speaks volumes about the footballing talent in this state.”
The recognition from the Premier and football community highlights the impact of this achievement, not just for the players involved but for South Australian football as a whole.
Congratulations to Pana and the Young Socceroos on this well-deserved honour!
