Joshua Nisbet Joins Ross County in Exciting Move
P11 Group is thrilled to announce the successful transfer of our client, Joshua Nisbet, from Australian club Central Coast Mariners to Scottish Premiership side Ross County.
The move marks an exciting new chapter in Nisbet’s career as he steps onto the European stage, bringing his dynamic skill set and proven talent to the Staggies.
Joshua Nisbet has rapidly risen through the ranks of Australian football. Known for his versatility on the pitch, Nisbet can operate across multiple positions, including defensive midfield, winger, attacking midfield, or even as a forward. After making his professional debut for Central Coast Mariners in August 2018, Nisbet quickly cemented his place in the squad, making over 145 appearances and earning a reputation as one of the A-League’s most consistent and talented players.
His standout performances culminated in a remarkable 2022-23 season where Nisbet not only won the Mariners Medal as the club’s best player but also played a pivotal role in the team’s Championship triumph. He continued his success in the following 2023-24 season, helping the Mariners secure their Premiership, Championship, and AFC Cup titles, while also earning the prestigious Johnny Warren Medal for best player in the A-League.
In March 2024, Nisbet received his first call-up to the Australian national team for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, making his debut in a match against Lebanon. His exceptional form has caught the attention of clubs worldwide, but it is Ross County who have secured his signature.
Ross County manager Don Cowie couldn’t contain his excitement over Nisbet’s arrival, expressing his belief that the Australian international will make a huge impact in the Scottish Premiership.
